In supporting this network, the Alliance provides technical assistance, an annual conference, quarterly webinars, and guidebooks to assist coalitions in their work with family caregivers. The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America initiated National Memory Screening Program as part of its mission to provide “optimal care and services to individuals confronting dementia, and to their caregivers and families”


Advocacy Task Force

Our yearly programming is guided by the Advocacy Task Force, a working group of coalition representatives that meets monthly to provide advice and counsel on current project and engages in two key areas: (1) Sharing of Best Practices and Strategies; and (2) Setting Priorities for National Work. These leaders represent the diverse interests of family caregivers across the United States and are leading the way in caregiver advocacy, education, and empowerment.
