Description of legislation:

The bill would amend the Social Security Act (SSA) to make certain caregivers aged 55-65 years eligible for both part A and part B Medicare benefits.  The bill would also amend the Internal Revenue Code to provide an annual long-term care credit of $3000 per applicable person for whom a taxpayer is an eligible caregiver.
