With more than 53 million Americans providing care across every state and community\, many important federal programs offer family caregivers – and those they serve — a variety of support in order to keep their loved ones at home\, versus having to move them to costly institutional care. With the proper support\, many family caregivers can continue to work and care for their family members in a way that offers higher quality\, personalized care\, dignity and “choice” for the individual.
