Andy Hogan is the Senior Manager for Membership & Development at NAC. In this position, he is responsible for supporting members’ needs and benefits, growing the membership base and expanding outreach to the NAC community, launching member webinars, developing new member welcome materials, and maintaining the member/funder database.

He brings with him over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of membership marketing, including Project Management, Marketing Automation, Digital Transformation and Database/Direct Marketing. Throughout his career, Andy has had the privilege of helping transform sound strategy into great ideas and believes that success is built on outstanding leadership and building consensus alongside talented people who share a common vision.

Prior to joining NAC, Andy served as the Director of Membership Strategy for the American Institute of Architects, growing the membership to over 90,000 individuals and engaging a more diverse audience of sole practitioners and emerging architectural professionals. In addition, he has worked as a freelance consultant for many non-profit, government and commercial clients including the Natural Resources Defense Council, Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Land Trust Alliance, American Forests, Association of Engineering Educators, the American Medical Group Association, and the Army and Air National Guard. He is an active member of many professional support organizations including ASAE, the Direct Marketing Association of Washington, and the American Management Association.

Although born in New York City, he grew up in southern California before returning to the east coast in 1986 to study at the American University in Washington, DC and has called it home ever since. He has two young daughters who are growing up too fast.
