Family Caregiving is public health and economic security issue. Located in the heart of Washington, D.C., the National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC) is the leading organization conducting policy analysis and tracking federal legislation dealing with family caregiving issues in the U.S. – initiatives that focus on family caregivers or affect the care recipient in a way that would also affect the family caregiver. As an alliance dedicated to providing a voice for family caregivers, we stand at the ready to support the implementation of policies that will support those caring for a diverse range of people across the lifespan. Our team works every day to ensure the development of an economic, social and health care infrastructure equipped to serve working caregivers, caregivers of veterans, spousal caregivers, pediatric caregivers, older adult and youth caregivers, long-distance caregivers, higher-hour caregivers and all others in need.
