These initiatives enhanced her leadership and program evaluation skills, allowing her to implement strategies that support community well-being.

Melina holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Education, Promotion, and Behavior from the University of West Florida, dual Bachelor of Science degrees from Florida International University, and has completed the equivalent of a Master of Medical Sciences at Universidad Iberoamericana. Her commitment to addressing social determinants of health drives her focus on creating sustainable programs that elevate the quality of life for family caregivers and vulnerable populations.

Originally from Delaware and now residing in Florida, Melina enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Outside of work, she loves cooking, reading, watching TV, and indulging in her hobbies of collecting mugs, anime, and Marvel figures.
