Champions in Care Forum
The National Alliance for Caregiving’s Champions in Care Forum will be an ongoing annual webinar to raise awareness about current transplant system reform efforts and highlight policy opportunities to recognize the role of family caregivers and adequately support them.
Be a champion for change in transplant care.
At the first-ever Champions in Care Forum, we conducted an in-depth exploration of critical reforms shaping the future of transplant care. We delved into the OPTN Modernization Initiative and the Organ Transplantation Affinity Group’s efforts, with a special focus on the impact of these changes on family caregivers. We also engaged in dynamic discussions that elevated the essential role caregivers play and advocated for policies that prioritize their needs. Watch the recording to learn more.
