Lisa Graves, PhD

Dr. Lisa Graves is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at CSU San Marcos. She received her PhD in clinical psychology with an emphasis in neuropsychology from the San Diego State University/UC San Diego Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. She completed a postdoctoral residency in the neuropsychology of aging and Alzheimer’s disease at VA San Diego, prior to joining CSU San Marcos. Her research evaluates the diagnostic utility of commonly used neuropsychological and functional measures across the continuum of normal aging, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, among culturally diverse aging adults. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of California and has experience in the neuropsychological evaluation of neurocognitive disorders due to Alzheimer’s disease, cerebrovascular disease, movement disorders, and traumatic brain injury. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in neuropsychology and psychological testing at CSU San Marcos.
