Davisha Davis is the Associate Director of Communications for the National Alliance for Caregiving where she is charged with planning and executing communications strategies that supports and amplifies the organization’s mission, research and advocacy work for caregivers.
She has over 8 years of experience working in corporate communications, lifestyle, general consumer, and most recently health and tech public relations. Here, she dove into the public health landscape and leaned into work that would address the disparities and inequities underrepresented communities are faced with. Fueling with passion to work in the advocacy space, she would land a role at NAC to use her communication skills to champion inclusivity for caregivers.
Prior to NAC, Davisha worked at PR agencies in New York City and Philadelphia where she focused on media relations, project management and crafting media messages for executives and thought leaders. As a seasoned communications expert, she’s had success in landing clients in top national publications and incorporating new media strategies that further boost their reputation in their respective industry.
Davisha currently resides in Philadelphia and graduated with a master’s in Communications at The College of New Rochelle and a bachelor’s in TV, Radio and Film at Syracuse University.
