Accountability

NAC values its partnerships with donors, funders, and members. Accountability and transparency are a part of those partnerships. We are compliant with legal requirements to disclose certain financial information to the public upon request, and we readily submit financial information requested by our funders.

We also provide board members with access to financial information in order to fulfill their fiduciary duty to us. NAC maintains sound financial management, including a broad array of fiscal policies and internal controls guided by our Finance Committee, Board of Directors, and accountants. As a 501(c)(3), we adhere to ethical practices in fundraising overall and follow best practices in our grant and sponsorship solicitations.

To demonstrate our commitment to accountability and transparency, we’ve posted copies of our most recent IRS Form 990, and our audited financial statements. NAC does not issue a traditional annual report but instead publishes a yearly Impact Report.
