Washington, DC (December 9, 2022)— Jason Resendez, President and CEO of the National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC), has been named one of this year’s STATUS List honorees by STAT News.

“I’m honored to be selected for this prestigious recognition alongside so many transformative trailblazers in health, medicine, and science who are making our world better through their leadership,” said Resendez. “NAC is laser-focused on ensuring America’s 53 million family caregivers are better served by the healthcare system and life sciences sector, so I’m heartened that a news outlet like STAT continues to give caregiving – and caregivers – a platform.”

This year, STAT recognized 46 of the brightest minds in health, medicine, and science who have taken extra steps to help others and build community during the most challenging times in the health space this past year.

In addition to Jason, NAC is pleased to announce that the following leaders from its member organizations have been selected for the 2023 STATUS List:

  • Albert Bourla, Chairman and CEO, Pfizer
  • Ivan Cheung, CEO, U.S. operations, Eisai

“This honor has been made all the much sweeter by sharing it with these bold leaders from NAC’s member companies,” said Resendez. “Together, we’re building health, wealth, and equity for America’s 53 million family caregivers.”
