Our Impact This Year

2025 marked the first year of the National Alliance for Caregiving’s new strategic plan—and one of the most challenging policy environments for family caregivers in recent memory. Yet amid significant headwinds, NAC fought for and secured critical protections, released the most comprehensive caregiver data in a generation, and built a movement that brought family caregiving from the margins to the center of national discourse. Despite the setbacks, we found openings to cement NAC’s role as the nation’s leading voice for 63+ million family caregivers, proving that even in difficult times, progress is possible when family caregivers have a seat at the table.
